If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can take advantage of our hassle-free return policy, which includes instant refunds, exchanges or store credits on full-priced items. Please refer to the information below for details on your return options and eligibility.

Standard Return information:

Returns within Australia can be processed via our online portal.

Step 1: 
Visit the Australia Post Returns portal, which can be found here,  to organise a standard return. 

Step 2: The portal will generate a return shipping label and direct you to your nearest postage facility. 

Step 3: Include a completed returns form within your parcel - you can print a copy form here or handwrite the required information.


ONLINE PURCHASES DOMESTIC:
  • We offer instant refunds on full priced items through Refundid within 14 days of purchase for Australian customers.
  • We do not offer exchange or store credit on either full price or sale items.

  • All items must be returned in their original condition with tags attached. Damaged, washed, altered, or worn items cannot be returned

  • Return shipping is at the cost of the customer. Return labels can be purchased through Refundid for $10.99

ONLINE PURCHASES INTERNATIONAL:
  • We offer full refunds on full priced items within 20 days of purchase for international customers.
  • We do not offer exchange or store credit on either full price or sale items.

  • All items must be returned in their original condition with tags attached. Damaged, washed, altered, or worn items cannot be returned.
  • Return shipping is at the cost of the customer. Please include our returns form and organise return shipping with your local courier.

    IN-STORE PURCHASES:
    • Exchange or store credit only for full-priced items returned within 7 days.

    • All items must be returned in their original condition with tags attached. Damaged, washed, altered, or worn items cannot be returned.

    • Sale items are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

    • Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

    • Gift vouchers are redeemable within 3 years of purchase.

    • Please retain the receipt as proof of purchase.

      PHONE ORDERS:
    • Exchange or store credit only for full-priced items returned within 7 days.

    • Sale items are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

    • Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

    CLICK & COLLECT ORDERS:
    • We offer instant refunds through Refundid, store credit or exchange within 14 days of purchase.
    • Sale items are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

    • Return shipping is at the cost of the customer. Return labels can be purchased through Refundid or Aus Returns Portal for $10.99
    • Credit notes are valid for 12 months.
    GIFT CARD PURCHASES:
    • Unfortunately if you used a store credit or Gift Voucher with your purchase, you will not be able to use Refundid.
    EXCEPTIONS
    • If you believe the product is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, please email customercare@skinandthreads.com prior to initiating a return together with your order number and supporting images.
    • Australian Consumer Law guarantees that you can receive a replacement, refund, or compensation for a major failure or defect in the goods, or have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality.
    • Faulty returns are free of charge.
    PROCESSING TIME
    • We aim to process all returns within 7 business days of receiving your item(s). You will be contacted via email with the details of your processed return. Please note, this time period may vary during busy periods. 
    RETURN TO SENDER
    If an order is returned due to an insufficient address, our Customer Service team will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Any customers who return an order and mark the parcel as Return to Sender will have the $10 shipping fee deducted from their return.

    ABOUT REFUNDID
    • Refundid is a third-party instant refund platform available for full-priced items purchased online within Australia. 
    • Refunds are paid out instantly, but if your return tracking hasn't updated within 10 days, Refundid will reverse the refund. 
    • Afterpay purchases are still eligible for refunds through Refundid, but the refund won't settle Afterpay instalments.
    • For example: 1. Heidi buys a $100 t-shirt and pays her first $25 instalment to Afterpay. 2. She decides the t-shirt is too small and lodges a refund from Refundid. 3. After entering her order and tracking number she is paid the full $100 from Refundid. 4. Heidi must pay Afterpay the remaining $75 at the specified payment dates.
